February 28, 2018 – Rooney Nimmo, an international corporate law firm based in New York, London, Edinburgh and San Francisco, announces that it has strengthened its international offering with the addition of four lawyers in the US and UK.

Daniel Diamond, based in San Diego, California, is a seasoned corporate and securities attorney who guides his clients through all stages of business, from inception and rounds of VC funding through exit. As outside corporate counsel to technology and life sciences companies, Daniel manages a diverse range of transactions, including securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and various commercial contracts, as well as the day-to-day legal affairs of his clients. He also has experience representing various investment funds, including the world’s best-known accelerator, Y Combinator.

Daniel worked in the San Diego and New York offices of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati for several years prior to starting his own law firm and joining forces with Rooney Nimmo. Daniel received his B.A. from UCLA and his J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law. He is licensed to practice law in both California and New York.

Tracy Yuan, based in New York City, has advised US and international clients on various corporate law matters for more than ten years. Tracy worked for several years at Sullivan and Cromwell in both its New York and Hong Kong offices, as well as at Paul Hastings and Shearman & Sterling in Hong Kong. Tracy received her law degree from New York University School of Law and her undergraduate degree in finance and economics from New York University’s Stern School of Business. She is admitted to practice law in the state of New York.

Allan Rooney, Founding Partner in New York, said: “Dan’s corporate law experience, particularly in fundraising and venture capital, adds enormous strength to our West Coast practice. His work with technology and life sciences companies is well known. Working alongside Rooney Nimmo Partner Sean Hogle, who is based in Silicon Valley, Dan greatly enhances our ability to advise a range of clients across the States. Tracy, with her international experience and corporate law expertise, adds greatly to our ability to advise clients as they seek to grow and fund their businesses.”
